Saturday is our P-Day -- June 7, 2014

Hey Everyone!!!

Well, Saturday is our p-day!!! We have been so extremely busy.  I love all the letters and dear elders that I have gotten! And thank you mom for the sunshine package!! It was so nice to get that mom!!! I loved your note inside; it helped me so much!! I wasn't able to receive mail until Thursday..... so I have a lot of catching up to do, but I appreciate everything you have been sending me, it really is helping me get through this whole process. So thanks a bunch!!!!

I want you to tell Brayden happpy birthday for me. I hope he loves turning 16 as much as I did!! He is awesome and I'm proud of him and I miss him a ton. Tell Alyssa thanks for the note she left me in my suitcase.  That made my night when I found it. I love her and think she is becoming a beautiful girl.  I hope she knows that I love her and miss her tons!!! It's hard being with out you guys.  Everyday is a reminder that I won't see everyone for 2 years!!!! But it will be worth it. ;)

We have learned so much already! It's interesting how we learn. Everything we learn is through the spirit. We only have a teacher for a couple hours a day and the rest of our time, we teach each other as a district. I love my district!  I share a room with Elder Nelson, Elder Clawson, and Elder Stoddard. These guys are already like brothers to me. It's nice to have new close friends like they are. The food here is so bad. It's good, but it makes me sick. I could use more snacks and some Mtn. Dew please!!!! NEED MTN DEW!!!!!

I had a really cool experience a couple days ago! The sisters in my zone are Sister Packard and Sister Wannacot. I had the impression that one of them would need a blessing soon. So I told my companions about the impression I had and we went over how to give blessings and everything that night on our own time. The next day, we were reading the white bible (missionary handbook) and we got to where it talks about blessings, and sure enough, Sister Packard said she needed a blessing. It was so cool to have revelation like that.  It's a power I have never felt before. It's so special and sacred and I keep getting more of that sense every day that I'm here. The Lord is converting me to be his servant. It's amazing and it keeps me going! I love this gospel and I love our Savior. Without him, there would be no other way. Thank you again for all the prayers!  I can feel them, especially from mom and dad. I love you guys so so so much.  I hope you know that. I miss you, but this is where I need to be, this is part of my plan. I hope you have a good day and week. Keep praying for me and keep sending me stuff please.  It feels good to get mail! ;) I love you, see you soon!!!!
